LOCAL X-RAY
2D intraoral X-ray imagining is the least invasive dental examination technique where a digital detector is placed into the oral cavity to record images of individual dental crowns and their roots (bitewing radiographs).
ORTHOPAN
A special X-ray machine is used to perform a two-dimensional (2D) panoramic imaging of all teeth, the upper and lower jaw, and jaw joints. Orthopan is most commonly used for preventive purposes.
